I am trying to pair my android phone to my Win10 PC with the Across server. I've tried two different bluetooth adapters and neither worked. Usually it times out on the PC and the android says it cannot pair. Not sure on the conditions, but there has been a couple times I get the pairing windows asking me to confirm the code. But when I do, I still get the same result. Also every now and then the Across server asks me to restart it. And I'm also using a Logitech keyboard and trackball with the Logi Bolt dongle, if that matters. I have tried reinstalling both the server and client apps
Hello, mrpaulc, What chipsets do your Bluetooth adapters have, respectively? RealTek or MediaTek chipset would not work for our app. BTW, besides the android phone, do you have other clients correctly paired with your server PC?
How can I know what chipsets are in my bluetooth adapter? Can you recommend an inexpensive adapter to ensure compatibility?
Please refer to this posting -- https://community.acrosscenter.com/...g-process-failing-error-code-7.250/#post-1166 After getting vid/pid, you can google the vid/pid and find what vendor makes the chipset. A Broadcom or CSR chipset based dongle will work well. I recommend a CSR chipset based dongle. You can find them in amazon.com with "CSR 4.0" search. Hope it helps. Thank you.
