There's a very troubling issue with this software upon booting up the pc. my setup is a windows 11 PC and an IPad When i start my PC and reach login screen, the app is already running (although i disabled it in-app settings?) and then when i press a button to start typing the windows pin code, the cursor immediately jumps to iPad, and refuses to return - it starts to bug out as i move it back, it tries rapidly but loops back - also creating a sticky keys alerts mess for some reason. the shortcuts for switching do nothing. i have to move the cursor ever so slightly back to the PC and try to type the pin before it jumps back to IPad... ideally this software should only run when logged in. i tried many things to achieve this but to no avail - it always starts on boot. what can be done?
Hi, How about disabling the autostart of our app? Please refer to our manual -- https://www.acrosscenter.com/manual/general-config: Hope it helps. Thank you.
as i said, i already had it off, but it seems to have no effect - it auto started regardless. at some point, after disabling also in task manager startup apps, it didnt show up in tray but the 2 processes were present in TM and it did the same behavior i described...
For the manual start of across, you need to exit the AcrossCenter.exe shown in the system tray before restart/shutdown. It is little tricky and I think it should be improved. Thank you.
