Hi i'm Michele Gabriele from Italy, i left using teleport in favor of across because bluetooth connection seems to be less lag affected but i loose the possibility to drag file from one client to server or back, that would be a nice feature to include. Regards.
Hi Michel Gabriele, Teleport is using network such as LAN or WIFI and then must be much smoother than Across if it would be implemented well because network data rate is much much faster than Bluetooth. I think file transfer between devices would be very cool. However if it would be supported, it won't be supported over Bluetooth. Bluetooth data rate is too slow to transfer a big file. Network connection has better data rate but on wifi it's less reliable when you have to control with touchpad and keyboard an other pc, i started to search for a bluetooth alternative to teleport because the macbook air i use to control do not have ethernet and on wifi was not so satisfactory, i have more precise control using across with the touchpad, but i understand the problema about low speed bluetooth connection; it would be anyway usefull to have the file transfer feature for little files as text for example.
