Just purchased. Entered the key and it gives me this error. Did I miss something? The key shows in the deactivated area.
Hi RMelaragni, Thanks for your purchase and sorry for the inconvenience. The error means that Across is running in a Virtual Machine. I have turned off the limitation then you can now activate your product key without the error. Please try to activate your product key again.
It doesn't matter since the limitation is turned off though. Just for clarification, please check if Hyper-V in your computer is disabled or not by referring this site: http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/42041-hyper-v-enable-disable-windows-8-a.html If Hyper-V is enabled, you are in a virtual machine.
