Allow custom hotkeys for changing clients

Right now we can't have custom keys, only the predefined options (both control keys etc) and middle mouse.
I would like to have these, as well as have the middle mouse, scroll wheel and extra mouse buttons, redirected to clients.

I am using an Apple Mighty Mouse on a Windows server. On Windows I can use the 'Button 4' squeeze buttons to trigger 'Back' in many applications. However, on my Mac client, I don't see any options for 'Button 4' in my Mouse preferences and it doesn't do anything.

Another +1 for redirecting all extra mouse buttons to the client!

 

+1 from. Reason: existing hotkeys conflict with samsung dex navigation and (much more important) language switch hotkey comobs when across is used to connect to android device with dex.

 

if we could also assign specific hotkeys to specific clients that would be great.
On my logitech keyboard I can access function keys F13-F24.

For example, F13 would activate Client 1, F14 would activate Client 2, F15 would activate Server etc.
