2.29 UI is completely disabled on macOS High Sierra

    Hi,

I've installed Across Center 2.29 on a fresh clean macOS High Sierra installation (MacBook Air 2010), and the "app" is disabled. It's weird to even describe, because I've never seen something this uninformative. There's no window. The icon in the menu bar is disabled with a little X in its lower right corner. Only the "Exit", "Display Bluetooth Devices" and "Hide the Dock icon" menu items are available. I added the app to the list of "Allow the apps below to control the computer" in System Preferences

What's wrong, and why is the UI not telling me anything about it?

    Hi,

I have right now tested the v2.29 on my MBP and it works well.
Please try to 1) completely remove and install again 2) check whether any crashes that can be found in Console (LaunchPad > Other > Console) occur.
    Thank you.

    Edit:
    You don't need that.

    Remove/install didn't help.

When I launch Across, these appear in the console after the first few seconds:

I am afraid acrossd would crash. Go to /Library/Logs/CrashReporter in Finder, and put some acrossd crash dumps in here. Thanks.

They're in DiagnosticReports, not CrashReporter. I've attached 2 of them.

    Same issue on macOS Mojave.

I think recent clang compiler could generate new instructions that old CPU can't run. I will switch to gcc instead of clang for old macOS for a coming new version.
    Thanks.
